  well done - I really like the subtle use of color
thanks. I don't get a lot of time over the school year to get into some really creative stuff so I do these in class as demos.

We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Critiques
By softening the tonal qualities, this artist has managed to turn a beautiful photograph into a work of art. His attention to the details in her expression is almost without rival. I expecially appreciate the detail in the child's face. Lending it a photographic quality without the harsh edges one often picks up from a crisp photograph. The same way a photo editing program lends a soft filter, this artist has managed that softness through the masterful handling of a brush.
